MEGA has been serving Marin families for over 25 years in this long-standing gymnastics facility. Coaches are certified and background checked through USA Gymnastics, and MEGA is a USAG Member Club. Coaches attend annual lectures and training, and most camp staff are highly trained team coaches. Groups are often based on level and age, and friends or siblings may be grouped together if arranged in advance. Early and after care options can be requested in advance but are not always available. Camp enrollment requires a nonrefundable 20% deposit, with the final balance processed two weeks before the camp start date, and there may be limited daily drop-in options when there is a holiday, listed in the Customer Portal.

In 2023, longtime owners Donna and Mike transferred ownership to Cassie Bratberg, a Sonoma County native who has been involved in gymnastics since early childhood, began coaching athletes of all ages and levels in high school, and worked as a team coach and program manager at MEGA for over a decade before becoming owner. MEGA’s stated mission is to provide a joyful, supportive environment where kids can thrive, grow, and succeed through gymnastics, with coaches aiming to create a positive and encouraging environment where every child feels safe, seen, and empowered, supporting growth in both skills and confidence. MEGA reports a strong, lasting community with many families returning year after year, including families who bring back their children and grandchildren.

Parent feedback includes comments about camaraderie among the girls and how discipline and effort at the gym translate into daily life, as described by JC from San Francisco. Tim from Tiburon notes that his family has enjoyed the gym enough to enroll additional children, including a 7-year-old who is excited to join the Pre-team. Kristin from San Francisco describes the coaches as coaching the “whole” athlete, emphasizing personal development along with gymnastics skills.
