Ramblin' Adventure Club has operated since 2014 and is expanding to Marin and Sonoma counties for summer 2024. The program describes itself as a Sonoma Marin hiking and adventure club where kids go out for a new adventure every day and spend quality time in the wild areas of Sonoma and Marin counties where they learn, play, build relationships, and discover the outdoors for themselves. It offers a summer camp and after school hiking club for kids in grades K–6th, along with a Youth Trail Guides program for grades 6–12. Weekly themed days include Funday Mondays, Beach Boogie Tuesdays, Wiggle Wednesdays, Tree Thursdays, and Farewell Fridays. The program states that it offers highly qualified, background checked and fingerprinted Outdoor Guides, and that all of the teachers are extremely qualified. Ramblin' Adventure Club is a fully insured summer camp and after school adventure program. The program’s mission is to make learning fun and connect kids with the outdoors, with a goal of providing a safe and fun learning experience outdoors while exploring Sonoma and Marin counties. One testimonial describes it as the “BEST kids after school program EVER” and notes that a child “looks forward to it every week and has learned so much from the teachers and other kids.” Another testimonial states that kids who stay indoors will be able to play outside. A third testimonial highlights journaling, taking photos, drawing discoveries, and learning about native plants and animals while spending the day outside, and says the child “would go every day, all year long if he could.” Another testimonial calls it a great alternative to typical after school programs and says the cost is quite reasonable.
