Camp Tamarancho offers activities including archery, rifle, tomahawk throwing, swimming, canoeing, fishing, hiking, backpacking, and mountain-biking. Marin Council, Scouting America holds annual events at Camp Tamarancho such as a Winter Pinewood Derby Workshop, Spring Family Fiesta weekend, Summer Cub Scout Day Camp weeks, Fall Cub Scout Adventure weekend, District Camp-O-Rees, Order of the Arrow induction ceremonies, and leadership training programs including NYLT, BALOO, IOLS, and WoodBadge.
