Terra Linda Community Pool Swim Lessons

Terra Linda Community Pool Swim Lessons take place in an eight-lane, 25-yard pool that is also used for lap swim, recreation swim, and water walking. The program is part of a facility that includes a toddler pool, seasonal inflatable fun, aquatic fitness programs, Masters Swim, Watergym Exercise, Lifeguard Training, Junior Guards, and Aquatic Aides. The pool schedule for spring 2026 notes that the pool is only open for lap swim and water walking, and that recreation swim for all ages will begin May 9.

All visitors must pay an entrance fee, even if they are not swimming, and no towel service is provided. Visitors are instructed to bring their own lock for lockers, and locks left overnight will be cut and removed. Only Coast Guard-approved lifejackets are allowed in the pool, and children wearing lifejackets must be within arm’s reach of a parent or guardian, may not swim alone, and may not be in deep water. Pool noodles and swim toys are not allowed in the main pool. Swim tests are required for swimmers under the age of 12 who want to swim in the deep end or use the Mighty Medley, which is only open during the summer. The toddler (tot) pool is open for non-swimmers under the age of 6 and requires supervision by an adult or caretaker who is at least 15 years old. Children who are not potty trained are required to wear an approved re-usable swim diaper; a diaper or disposable swim diaper may not be worn alone, and a re-usable swim diaper can be worn alone or over a disposable swim diaper.
