• Schedule: Week-long nature-based camps offered in Summer, Winter and Spring
WildCare has been helping people live well with wildlife since 1974. Its mission includes treating approximately 3,500 sick or injured animals a year and teaching children and adults to understand and appreciate wildlife, while sharing knowledge and instructions on how to live peacefully with animals in remaining open spaces. WildCare depends on dedicated volunteers for support in the Wildlife Hospital and many other roles. One volunteer described first encountering WildCare while rescuing an injured bird and later shared that volunteering and teaching children and adults about wildlife felt like kicking off a lifetime of caring.
