WildCare Wildlife Camp

WildCare Wildlife Camp offers week-long nature-based camps for children during Summer, Winter, and Spring. Camp activities take place in WildCare’s Interim Location, the Wildlife Ambassador Zone, and the Wildlife Hospital, where campers are around wildlife-focused spaces and programs.

WildCare has existed since 1974. Its mission is to make sure all species can coexist by treating sick or injured animals, teaching people how to live peacefully with wildlife, and advocating for better protection of wildlife and remaining open spaces. The Wildlife Hospital is open seven days a week from 9am to 5pm. The Wildlife Ambassador Zone is open to the public every day, and admission to this area is free. Easy parking is available at the Interim Location. WildCare depends on dedicated volunteers for support in the Wildlife Hospital and many other roles. One volunteer described first encountering WildCare while rescuing an injured bird and noted the kindness they experienced and their gratitude for WildCare, and shared that volunteering and teaching children and adults about wildlife feels like starting a lifetime of caring.
