About

The Catching Academy focuses on developing catchers and building leaders through activities such as refining craft, receiving and body positioning, flexibility and weight training, and exploring the mental side of catching. The program is dedicated to tailoring an instructional game plan and developing solid young men who understand the qualities necessary to lead.

The Catching Academy is led by Brett Thomas, Tony Arnerich, Kevin Stanley, and John Baker. The mission of the academy is to serve as a full-service instructional organization dedicated to the growth and development of elite defensive catchers in the greater Bay Area.
