East West Kung Fu offers Youth Kung Fu, Adult Kung Fu, Tai Chi, and self-defense classes, along with self-defense seminars. The program also offers birthday parties, summer camp, teen summer camp, and a Double Nunchuck Seminar.

East West Kung Fu was founded in 1967 in Castro Valley, California, by Grandmaster Lee and has served the East Bay for more than 58 years. Senior Grandmaster Richard Lee created the Bok Fu Do system, also called the Way of the White Tiger, and East West Kung Fu is the only school in the world that teaches this system. Bok Fu Do integrates Chinese Kenpo, Jujitsu, Karate, Tae Kwon Do, American boxing, Tien Shan Pai, Seven Star Praying Mantis, and traditional Chinese weapons into a single curriculum. The school has an instructor staff of over 40 certified World Class Black Belts, and Grandmaster John Buckley and senior instructors rotate among all three locations. The school's mission is to improve lives through the benefits of Bok Fu Do training for men, women, and children of all backgrounds and fitness levels, and East West Kung Fu welcomes students of all fitness levels, backgrounds, and ages. Programs range from Youth Kung Fu starting at age 3½ to Adult Kung Fu, Tai Chi, and specialized self-defense seminars, and enrolling begins with a complimentary private introductory lesson as the standard starting point for new students of all ages, with no prior martial arts experience required.
