Little Bridges Summer Camp

Little Bridges Summer Camp includes arts and crafts, drama, science projects, group games, organized sports, cooking activities, swimming, and field trips. Campers also have Academic Review, Book Time, Journal Writing, free time, and clubs such as Cooking club, art club, sports club, and Engineering for Kids, a STEM-based program. Fridays at Little Bridges Summer Camp feature special attractions on campus such as magicians, game trucks, theater productions, music performances, and a carnival, along with special surprise activities planned by counselors.

Little Bridges is open year round, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Mondays include clubs such as Cooking club, art club, sports club held at a different local park every Monday, and Engineering for Kids. Tuesdays and Thursdays are swim days, with travel in Little Bridges vans to local high school pools that are staffed with lifeguards and offer pool experiences for every level of swimmer or non-swimmer. Wednesdays are field trip days, with a chartered bus taking campers to different destinations around the Bay Area, including amusement parks, museums, zoos, the San Francisco pier, or water parks. Morning and afternoon snacks are provided, and all children in the program during the lunch hour bring a lunch from home.

The program has an on-site staff-to-student ratio of 1:11 and a staff-to-student ratio of 1:6 when away from the facility every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Each counselor has been fingerprinted and has completed CPR and First Aid training, and staff meet or exceed California licensing standards. The facility is licensed by Community Care Licensing through the State. Morning and afternoon snacks are provided.

Little Bridges Child Care Center provides licensed infant and toddler care, preschool programs, and before-and-after-school care for children in kindergarten through 5th grade. Little Bridges is a ministry of Canyon Creek Presbyterian Church of San Ramon and a ministry to families in the San Ramon Valley. The program’s stated goal is to instill Christian values through character development, respect for others, and self-esteem in fun and meaningful ways, and to provide a high quality, integrated program in an atmosphere of respect and love where children can develop spiritually, intellectually, physically, and socially. Its stated purpose is to provide a Christ-centered, safe, loving, and stimulating environment for children, with nurturing care that complements values learned at home and develops Christian character and conduct. It accepts all children it is licensed to serve, without regard to ethnic background, gender, or creed.
