Tompkins Tennis Junior Programs at ClubSport San Ramon offers a range of tennis activities including Kids Tennis, Junior Tennis, Junior Development Classes, Ranked Juniors, Tournament Training 12 and Unders, Under 10 Tournament Training, Future Slammers, and Junior Aces. The program also takes place at a facility that includes tennis on 8 full-lit tennis courts, swimming in a year-round heated pool, and access to racquetball, squash, adult tennis, and fitness options.

Tompkins Tennis Junior Programs at ClubSport San Ramon includes a Junior Development Class for all levels except Future Slammers, Ranked Juniors, and Tournament Training programs, with a two-day minimum attendance and class times Monday–Friday from 6–8 p.m. and Saturday/Sunday from 12–2 p.m. Ranked Juniors requires a USTA ranking of at least top 100 in Northern California and a tryout, with a two-day minimum attendance and practices Monday–Friday from 3:30–6:30 p.m. Tournament Training 12 and Unders requires a tryout and active competition in USTA tournaments, with a two-day minimum attendance and sessions Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 3:30–6:30 p.m. Under 10 Tournament Training requires a tryout and meets Tuesday and Thursday from 5–6:30 p.m. Future Slammers is an entry-level program for 4–7 year olds with a two-day minimum attendance, meeting Tuesday and Thursday from 5–6 p.m. and Saturday/Sunday from 9–10 a.m. Junior Aces is designed for entry-level 8–12 year olds and meets Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 4–6 p.m. and Saturday/Sunday from 10 a.m.–12 p.m.

Tompkins Tennis was established in 1992 and is part of Tompkins Sport, which reports 9,237 players inspired and 1,351 top ranked, college bound players. The leadership team includes Richard Tompkins, the namesake of Tompkins Tennis, and Michael Sperry, Director of Tennis. The coaching team is made up of former Pro Tour and Division I players, including Gabriel Ionita, who is USPTA and Level 2 RSPA (professional) certified, and Sandy Tompkins, who is a certified Personal Trainer, Sports Nutrition Certified, and TRX-certified. The program states that it is the #1 year-round junior training program on the West Coast, located in the heart of Silicon Valley, and that Tompkins produces more nationally ranked juniors than any other program in Northern California. The program mission states a belief that passion trumps skill and hard work builds better players, and that it focuses on creating players who strive for excellence and on instilling life-long values of self-respect, self-belief, and positive thinking on and off the court, with the stated ultimate goal “PLAY WITH PASSION®.” The program uses the Bounx Centre aligned with the Bounx methodology for player development, including coach-verified rating and Level-Based Play via the BOUNX system, along with contactless booking and payment, attendance tracking, player feedback, XP players can earn, and a chat function via the BOUNX Sport system.
