River Way Ranch Camp offers a wide range of summer camp activities, including culinary arts, horseback riding, a ropes challenge course, film production, dance, gymnastics, martial arts, waterskiing, waverunners, and sports of all kinds. The camp’s list of activity options now tops 75, and it is described as California’s top co-ed traditional overnight summer camp. Age-progressive programs include Buckaroos, Rancheros, Seniors, and a Teen Leadership Program for older campers.

Summer after summer for fifty-nine years, River Way Ranch Camp has provided outdoor experiences and innovative learning opportunities for children ages 7–16. Highly trained staff encourage and guide campers to experience everything camp has to offer, setting them up for future success. Age-progressive programs include Buckaroos as the youngest campers, who travel as a cabin to pre-scheduled activities selected for them, while Rancheros and Seniors pick their own schedules. The Teen Leadership Program (Counselors-in-Training) serves campers ages 15–17, and the CIT program has established a reputation for being one of the finest counselor training programs in California.
