SAM Academy offers hands-on experiments and discovery-based learning in science, along with creative expression through various media in art. The program also includes music education, personalized music lessons, personalized folklorico dance lessons, and instruction in all major instrument categories for all experience levels.
• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2 PM–7 PM
Since opening fifteen years ago, SAM Academy has provided after-school, weekend, spring, winter, and summer programming to Central Valley youth and families. Its mission is to cultivate a vibrant community where youth from at-risk environments are empowered through education, cultural enrichment, and mentorship. SAM Academy is a registered 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization and is a proud partner of the Central Valley Regional Center (CVRC), offering personalized music and folklorico dance lessons to CVRC clients. The program is partially funded by The Fresno Arts Council Rural Access Grant, The Wonderful Company, and the City of Sanger Measure S Grant, and lists partners including The City of Sanger, The Wonderful Company, EECU, and The Fresno Arts Council.
