SAM Academy offers hands-on experiments, discovery-based learning, music education, personalized music lessons, folklorico dance lessons, and instruction in all major instrument categories for all experience levels. The program includes after-school, weekend, spring, winter, and summer programming, and serves Central Valley youth and families. Programs take place in a non-traditional learning environment and are customized to meet specific needs and interests.

Since opening fifteen years ago in downtown Sanger, SAM Academy has grown into a 7,500-square-foot building that houses a Science Workshop, Art Studio, and Music Studio. The mission of SAM Academy is to cultivate a vibrant community where youth from at-risk environments are empowered through education, cultural enrichment, and mentorship. The leadership team includes Dr. Jose L. Bautista, MD. SAM Academy is a registered 501 (c3) tax-exempt organization. SAM Academy is a proud partner of the Central Valley Regional Center (CVRC) and offers personalized music and folklorico dance lessons to CVRC clients. The program is partially funded by The Fresno Arts Council Rural Access Grant, The Wonderful Company, and the City of Sanger Measure S Grant, and partners include The City of Sanger, The Wonderful Company, EECU, and The Fresno Arts Council.
