Wonder Valley Outdoor Education Center

Wonder Valley Outdoor Education Center offers activities such as horseback riding, archery, tennis, volleyball, go-karts, ziplining, rock climbing, swimming, kayaking, craft-making, and paintball. The program also gives participants access to sports courts, horseshoe pits, swimming pools, biking trails, and a trampoline center. Wonder Valley Outdoor Education Center operates within a one-of-a-kind property with state-of-the-art facilities and is part of an all-inclusive resort with no resort fees, free Wi‑Fi and parking, and homelike cottages and resort-style hotel rooms, with group shuttle services available from Fresno Yosemite International Airport.

The Wonder Valley property was originally founded by rancher George Pierson in 1911. The ranch was bought by the Webb family in the 1950s and was purchased by the Oken family in 1973, who own and operate the grounds to this day. One TripAdvisor reviewer, Shannell C, described the hotel as beautiful and clean, with helpful and kind staff, and said the kids did not want to leave. Another reviewer, Lucia D, wrote that it was their first time visiting, that the staff was very friendly and helpful, and that the property was beautiful and a place they plan to visit again. A third reviewer, Terry Smits Moren, shared that they attended a retreat there and found the grounds relaxing and quiet, with large, clean, and easy-to-walk areas and cabins described as homey and warm.
