Matchpoint Tennis Academy offers court rentals, reserve and walk-on court time, private coaching with 1-on-1 training, a junior tennis program, adult tennis programs, and events such as tournaments and social gatherings. Elson is the founder and director of Matchpoint Tennis Academy, is a former top-ranked Brazilian junior player, pursued a professional career before attending Hampton University in Virginia, was ranked #1 in doubles and #2 in singles there, graduated with a degree in marketing and professional tennis management, and worked with coach Robert Lansdorp. Danny is the Head Tennis Pro, is a USPTA Certified tennis coach and MPTA Fitness Trainer with over 20 years at Matchpoint Tennis Academy, specializes in developing junior players and building mental resilience, is fluent in English and Arabic, serves as USTA Junior Team Tennis Coordinator/Director, and holds certifications from ASFA and AFPA. David is a Tennis Pro with 20 years of coaching experience, including 4 years at Cal Poly Pomona. Dan is a Tennis Pro with four years of high school tennis, two years at Cypress College, three years on the Pro Tour, and 27 years of coaching experience, 16 of those at Matchpoint Tennis Academy. Alexey is a Tennis Pro who earned First Team All-PacWest Singles honors, Second Team All-PacWest Doubles honors, a national singles ranking of No. 18, PacWest Player of the Week and Academic All-PacWest recognition, and is a tennis coach at Biola University. Quentin is a Tennis Pro who set a program record with 106 career wins at Pacific University, was a three-time First Team All NWC selection from 2021 to 2023, reached the ITA Northwest Regional Doubles Final in 2022, and achieved career-high rankings of No. 18 in singles (West Region) and No. 3 in doubles (West Region, No. 18 nationally) for Division 3, and served as Team Captain in 2022–2023. Andreea is a Tennis Assistant Pro who was born in Romania, raised in Switzerland from age 11, reached a Top 10 ranking in Switzerland’s U14 tennis division, trained at the Mouratoglou Tennis Academy in France, played for Long Beach State in NCAA Division 1 in the Big West Conference, and is fluent in Romanian, French, and English.
