Summer Splash Day Camp includes games, group activities, swim lessons, and recreational swim time. The program also includes weekly off-site excursions, with excursion transportation included in the weekly camp fee for each participant. Lunch is provided by the Santa Ana Unified School District, and the weekly fee includes all activities, lunch, and one off-site excursion.
• Ages: 6–12 years old
• Schedule: Camp runs June 1–August 7 in 10 weekly sessions, Monday–Friday from 7:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m., with camp held on-site Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and excursions on Thursdays.
• Price: Before July 1: Resident weekly fee $115; Resident sibling rate $73; Non-resident weekly fee $136; Non-resident sibling rate $96. After July 1: Resident weekly fee $120; Resident sibling rate $76; Non-resident weekly fee $141; Non-resident sibling rate $97. Pricing is subject to change after July 1.
Each of the 10 weeks features a unique theme, and weekly camp themes and excursions are listed for Weeks 1–9. Campers are asked to bring a water bottle and snack each day and to wear their camp shirt on Thursdays for excursions. Each participant receives one camp shirt with initial registration, and additional shirts are available for purchase while supplies last. No guardians are permitted on the excursions with the camp groups, and for Week 9 only, on Thursday, July 30, campers should be dropped off and picked up at the Jerome Recreation Center. The program is described as designed to support personal growth in a safe and welcoming environment and to deliver fun, engaging outdoor experiences all summer long.
