Snow Valley Basketball Camps at Westmont College includes early morning workouts, intensive training sessions, and late-night games. Campers take part in clinics and drills that cover defense (stance, movement, control, and closeouts), offense (passing, receiving, movement, perimeter and inside play), positioning and shooting fundamentals, rebounding on both ball and help side, and transitions, open court work, and 4-on-4 cutthroat instruction. Each day includes game competition against other players of similar age and ability levels, and there is optional swim time in the outdoor RSSR pool for extended day and overnight campers in the evenings.

• Schedule: 2026 Boys I runs July 12–15 and Boys II runs July 16–19, with a week-long session including a minimum of nineteen clinics and daily games against players of similar abilities that run until 10pm

Snow Valley Basketball Camps at Westmont College was established in 1961, and the summer of 2020 marked 59 consecutive years in camp operations. The program includes a minimum of nineteen clinics concerning individual and team fundamentals in a week-long session, with drills as part of each clinic, and every participant plays a minimum of one half of every game. The camp maintains an eight to one player to coach ratio and provides each participant with a personal evaluation and individual report card at the conclusion of camp. Suggested spending money is $40 in cash, linens are not provided, and campers are asked to pack a bathing suit, pool towel, and sunscreen for optional swim time; drugs, alcohol, and tobacco are strictly prohibited and are grounds for dismissal from camp without a refund.
The leadership team includes Chris Oliver as Guest Clinician, Pete Rivas as Camp Director, and Manasa Chanaiwa, Rachel Nagel, and Pablo Garcia as Co-Directors. Chris Oliver is the founder of Basketball Immersion and has over two decades of experience coaching, consulting, and educating coaches and players at all levels, with work impacting organizations such as NBA teams, Nike, EYBL, Sierra Canyon School, and basketball federations worldwide. Camp Director Pete Rivas is the founder of The Works Basketball Academy, has almost forty years of boys and girls youth, high school, and college coaching experience, is on staff at Buena Park High School as Varsity Assistant Coach for the girls basketball program, and is a USA Basketball licensed coach, long-time Nike Basketball Camp Director, and Snow Valley Basketball Schools Co-Director. Since 1988, Co-Director Manasa Chanaiwa has been helping players improve their fundamentals and reach their goals and is USA Basketball licensed. Co-Director Rachel Nagel is the Head Girls Basketball Coach at Pacific Ridge School and was a Division 1 coach for the University of San Diego and UC Davis women’s basketball programs. Co-Director Pablo Garcia is entering his fifth year as Head Boys Basketball Coach at San Gorgonio High School in San Bernardino and has been coaching high school basketball for 16 years, most of those seasons in the Inland Empire.
Snow Valley Basketball School states that it is the longest-running program of its kind, where basketball players push past limits to become their absolute best, with a focus on making players a seriously better player, helping them leapfrog average players and move into the category of an MVP-type competitor, and helping them become their best while building a winning attitude grounded in teamwork, precision, and excellence on and off the court.
