Valhalla MMA

Valhalla MMA offers Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), Combat SAMBO, kickboxing and Muay Thai, Kung Fu, fitness, and MMA for kids, teens, and adults. The BJJ classes are offered at all levels. Combat SAMBO is described as a Russian martial art that mixes wrestling with Judo.

About the provider

Valhalla was founded by Sifu Michael Mac Donald in 1995 as the “Santa Barbara Martial Arts Academy.” His goal was to create a nurturing yet competitive environment where everybody was welcomed. His credentials include founder of Rising Phoenix Chuan Fa (Kickboxing), 8th degree blackbelt in Rising Phoenix Chuan Fa (Kickboxing), 5th degree blackbelt in 5 Ancestors Kung-fu, 3rd degree blackbelt in Combat SAMBO, 3rd degree blackbelt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (Carlos Machado), 2nd degree blackbelt (Nidan) in Judo, a 2003 “Master’s Hall of Fame” Inductee for Instructor of the Year, and professional records of 9-0 in kickboxing and 3-2 in MMA.
