Westside Dance

Westside Dance offers PreBallet, KinderBallet, Ballet I, Ballet II, Ballet III, Ballet IV, Ballet V, Drop-In Community Class, and Parent & Me. PreBallet is listed as an outdoor PreBallet class on Saturdays from 9:30-10:15am, and Parent & Me meets Thursdays from 9:15-10:00. Ballet III students train twice per week, and Ballet IV students begin pointe work.

• Ballet II — Professional coaching, increased discipline & longer classes.
• Ballet III — Tue, Thu; Ballet III students train twice per week · Professional coaching, increased discipline & longer classes.
• Ballet IV — Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri · The pursuit of mastery brings joy & confidence! Students begin pointe work in Ballet IV.
• Ballet V — Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri · The pursuit of mastery brings joy & confidence! Hardworking students build lifelong connections to dance & each other.

About the provider

Westside Dance lists Jennifer Phillips as owner and primary teacher, Ms. Kat as head teacher, and Ms. Anna as office manager. The studio’s mission is to create a space for dancers to bloom, and it says young students find a love of dance and attentive teachers ready to help them grow as athletes and artists. Jennifer Phillips was chosen as one of ten juniors to represent the US in the 2002 International Ballet Competition and performed leading roles with State Street Ballet in Santa Barbara. Ms. Kat danced in full length ballets such as Swan Lake and The Sleeping Beauty, and Anna graduated from UC Irvine with a BFA in Dance Performance and a minor in Education.

No annual registration or enrollment fees or hidden costs. Additional fees are limited to costume purchase/rental for the recital, special camps, parties, etc. Sibling discounts are 15% off total tuition for monthly students only. Missed classes can be made up within the same month in an appropriate class for the student's level. Tuition is due on the first class of the month or pay the full session upfront.
