Summer Dance Camps

Summer Dance Camps includes Hip Hop Camp, Dance Camp, and an All Styles Bootcamp where students take classes in Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, and Hip Hop. Dance Camp can include hip hop or ballet and also incorporates arts and crafts. Hip Hop Camp includes learning similar moves from music videos and choreographers, trying different styles within Hip Hop, and preparing for a show for friends and family, and students in All Styles Bootcamp also show off their skills in a show for friends and family.

• Ages: 6–18 years old
• Schedule: Hip Hop Camp meets 3 hours per day, and Dance Camp and All Styles Bootcamp each meet 6 hours per day.

Summer Dance Camps promotes the development of movement, creativity, coordination, memory, endurance, and social skills for children. All Styles Bootcamp is an intermediate/advanced level bootcamp for students with prior experience and is designed to help students achieve their goals and level up, and it requires studio approval to join. For Dance Camp and All Styles Bootcamp, families are asked to pack lunch and a snack. Early Bird pricing ends 4/30, and there are no refunds, with any schedule change requests required 30 days in advance.

Summer Dance Camps is offered by Montage Dance Productions, led by Montage’s founder Lauren Hoskins and teacher and tap company director Kaycee Carmichael Chiu. One parent review on Yelp.com notes that the studio is quite large, with mirrors and all equipment needed for children to thrive, and mentions that the instructors are patient, encouraging, and accommodating, with noticeable improvements in a child’s balance and coordination. Montage Dance Studio will also host a fundraising event that combines a dance showcase with a raffle and silent auction, and all proceeds from this event will benefit St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
