Umoja Track Club offers track and field practices that include track meets and field event practice. Athletes in the program may compete in events such as the Pacific Association Junior Olympics, Regional Championships, and National Junior Olympics, as well as meets like Sac Speed Showcase, East Bay Heat, Hercules Running Rebels, PAAF SJ Citywide, 3M, LA Jets, Central Valley, and NorCal Youth. The program includes a tryout step, where the head coach sets up a one-on-one session.

• Schedule: Core practices run February through July, with regular season from February to June and additional competition through the end of July
Umoja Track Club was founded in 2001 by Ron Robinson and Brunet Lux and has been serving the diverse South Bay community for more than two decades. The leadership team includes Head Coach Brunet Lux and Assistant Coaches Beto Lomax, Viktor Spalek, James Miles, Veronika Spalekova, Fane Williams, Kintina Edouard, Roan Nicholson, and Maya Little. The mission of Umoja Track Club is to empower young athletes to reach their full potential on and off the track by teaching the fundamentals of track and field, fostering continuous skill development, and instilling values and life skills for positive contributions to their community. TeamUmoja is a diverse group of athletes ages 7 to 18, athletes at all levels are welcome, and no practice is mandatory. Many athletes from Umoja Track Club have competed in the National Junior Olympics, and many qualify and advance to the National Junior Olympics at the end of July. The program does not offer a “summer program” but does accept late registration, and some blog posts about the program were contributed by athletes. The club uses the phrase “Not Just Track & Field... It's A Way Of Life” to describe itself as a youth track and field team in Santa Clara, California.
