Holiday Camps at Hugo's Gymfitness includes time on trampolines, a rock climbing wall, and a foam pit area. Camp days also include craft projects, free play, group games, and, for those enrolled on Fridays, a water activity around 11:15am.
• Ages: 4–12 years old
• Schedule: Half day 9am–12pm or full day 9am–3pm, with drop-off no earlier than 8:45am and pick-up at 12pm or 3pm depending on the option booked
• Price: Half Day $50 (9am–12pm); Full Day $80 (9am–3pm); 10% discount automatically applied for full-week (Monday–Friday) enrollment; sibling and service member discounts are not applied to camp
During camp, students rotate through 25-minute instructed sessions on different programs, including trampolines, the rock climbing wall, and the foam pit area. There is a snack break at 10:15am, followed by a craft activity, and lunch is at 12pm. Full day participants can choose which program they want to spend more time on in the second half of the day. At the end of camp, everyone washes their hands, gathers belongings, and waits for parent pick up in the rock wall area. Students are asked to bring a personal water bottle, and to pack a snack in a lunch box for half day, or a snack and lunch in a lunch box for full day. Any Epi-Pens must be left at the front desk at drop off and picked up at the end of each day. For Friday water activities, students need to bring a bathing suit, a towel, and sandals if they want to participate, and are asked not to bring iPads, phones, toys, or Fit Bit/Apple Watch.
The stated goal of Hugo's Gymfitness is to create the “Habit of Exercise” in each child and to provide skills, education, and empowerment toward a healthier, longer, and more enjoyable life. Hugo, the owner, coach, judge, and private trainer, has over 45 years of experience coaching, including 37 years in the Santa Clarita Valley, and is described as proud to have served the SCV community for the last 42 years. HUGO'S GymFitness has been consistently voted #1 in the Santa Clarita Valley for the past 16 years, and at its 15th anniversary had been voted #1 in the SCV Valley for the previous 9 years. Parents have shared that their children love Hugo’s, that coaches are nice and friendly, that the facility is very clean, and that there are weekend programs available, including birthday parties, with staff described as amazing and great.
