LAVA North Summer Program

LAVA North Summer Program offers multi-day camps, skills workshops, clinics, youth development classes, stand-alone clinics, and seasonal youth and juniors programs. The program also includes a Lite Program, which is a youth training program for elementary school athletes that mixes skills development with fun competitive games. Offerings are available for athletes of all skill levels, including beginner, intermediate, and advanced, and for students in 3rd–12th grades.

LAVA North is part of the Los Angeles Volleyball Academy (LAVA), a youth and juniors club volleyball organization for girls and boys with multiple locations in and around Los Angeles, CA. LAVA fields more than 100 teams annually across various age divisions for girls ages eight to eighteen, and SMBC Boys Volleyball Club fields over twenty teams annually across various age divisions for boys age ten to eighteen. The Official Beach Program of LAVA offers elite club-level beach training, cross-training on beach for indoor players, and youth and juniors development programs. LAVA North has been successfully serving the Santa Clarita community since 2011, and the Los Angeles Volleyball Academy (LAVA) was established in 2010.

The leadership team for LAVA North and the broader organization includes Sia Irilian (North Director), Nabil Mardini (Director, Principal), Trevor Julian (Director, Principal), Sheldon Sheehy (Billing Manager), Candice Tunis (Registrations Manager/Travel Coordinator), and Samantha Calisto (Recruiting Director). LAVA states that its primary goal is to develop the finest youth and junior athletes and coaches in the region, focusing on talent, technical mastery, volleyball acumen, competitiveness, work ethic, mental toughness, and passion for the game.
