About

The Afterschool Program offers a variety of activities including homework help, art, reading, physical activities, self-directed play, music, swim lessons, a surf club, and a youth basketball league. Participants also receive free healthy meals during the program.

• Ages: 6–18 years old
• Schedule: Monday–Friday 2:30pm–6:00pm
• Location: three Clubhouses: downtown Santa Cruz, Live Oak, and the Joe & Linda Aliberti Clubhouse in Scotts Valley

The program is part of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Cruz County (BGCSCC), a registered U.S. 501(c)3 nonprofit. Its mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need it most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. The leadership team includes Alice at the Downtown Santa Cruz Clubhouse, Ian at the Joe & Linda Aliberti Clubhouse, and Silka at the Live Oak Clubhouse.
