About

Nature Explorers Camp offers children the opportunity to engage in exploration, experimentation, and experiences outdoors. The program is designed to inspire future scientists, dig into deep time, develop naturalist skills, and build empathy for the natural world.

• Ages: 5–11 years old
• Schedule: Drop-off 8:30-9:00 am | Pick-up 3:00-3:30 pm, week-long day camps
• Price: Starting at $385 Per Child

The camp is led by an experienced educator, camp leader, and environmental scientist. All staff and volunteers have passed background checks and are CPR and First Aid certified. The Santa Cruz Museum of Natural History, which runs the camp, aims to connect people with science and nature to inspire stewardship of the natural world. The Scholarship Fund for the camp is supported by generous donations from community members. Parents are advised to send their campers with lunch and snacks, layers, clothes that can get dirty, sturdy closed-toe shoes, a water bottle, hat/sun protection, and any necessary medicine.
