Nature Explorers Camp is offered as seasonal day camps for K–6 during summer, spring, and winter breaks. Scholarships are available to reduce the cost of camp, and the Scholarship Fund is made possible by donations from members of the community. The program is part of an institution accredited by the American Alliance of Museums, whose mission is to connect people with science and nature to inspire stewardship of the natural world. Campers should bring lunch and snacks, layers, clothes that can get dirty during exploration, sturdy closed-toe shoes, a water bottle, hat or sun protection, and medicine if needed, as the program does not provide lunch or administer medication. Families are asked to include emergency medication for allergies with clear instructions and to indicate allergies and their severity upon registration.
