Sprouts Aftercare is a licensed after school program. The program offers daily after-school care for students in kindergarten through 6th grade. It describes its environment as creative, energized, and fun, with a focus on providing a fun, safe, and creative space for students during their time away from school.
• Ages: 5–11 years old
Jordan serves as Sprouts administration and teacher and has a bachelor’s degree in history from UCSC and a California Multiple Subjects teaching degree. Shannon is co-owner of Sprouts and Director of the Creative Eden lounge and has a master’s degree in education. Sprouts Aftercare states that it works with the community and families. The program’s mission states that exposing children to new experiences and ideas helps small sprouts (children) grow, expand their boundaries, connect with others, and foster self-discovery.
