Palomar Ballroom

Palomar Ballroom offers instruction in Salsa, Swing, Ballroom, Latin, and Nightclub dances, including both American and International styles. The program includes both American Ballroom and Latin dances as well as International Ballroom and Latin dances. Students also take part in dance parties and have time for practicing at the ballroom.

• Price: Cost for practice is $10 per person for the day.

Palomar Ballroom is a full-service ballroom dance studio with two studio spaces that can be rented for events, where live music and DJs are allowed. Students are welcome to come and practice at the ballroom when there is no class in session, and many students bring MP3 players to play their own music during practice. When practicing, students are asked to pay the practice fee to staff, show respect for other teachers and students, and give teachers control of the music machine. The Palomar Ballroom was founded by Steve Hughes. Its mission statement is that dance is the studio’s passion, and it aims to provide high-quality dance instruction in a fun, friendly, professional, and supportive environment.
