Pasatiempo Golf Club dates back to 1929 and was designed by world-renowned golf architect Alister MacKenzie, with all greens and bunkers restored to the original 1929 Alister MacKenzie design. Pasatiempo is a semi-private golf club with select tee times available to the public and is described as a very walkable course, with every tee close to the previous green and an encouraged pace of play of 4 hours and 15 minutes supported by Marshals on the course. The course has hosted the Western Intercollegiate for the past 78 years, has hosted USGA Championships including the 1986 U.S. Women’s Amateur and the 2004 U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur, and moved up three spots to #93 in Golf Digest’s “America's 100 Greatest Golf Courses (Top 100 Courses - 2025).” Caddie services are available with at least 24 hours advance notice, and shoes are required at all times on the golf course, with golf shoes needing Pro Shop approval and metal spikes not allowed.
