About

Santa Cruz Kids in Nature is a grassroots, outdoor learning program where kids take part in hands-on exploration and play. The program blends Social Emotional Learning, Natural and Cultural History, Art, and Environmental Stewardship, and keeps activities grounded in play, creativity, and community. Programs run after school during the academic year, with themed outdoor camps offered each summer, and the program is now offering after care as well.

• Schedule: Business hours are Monday - Friday 10 am - 6pm.

Santa Cruz Kids in Nature began in Fall of 2013. The program is fully licensed and insured. It employs responsible, talented, and experienced leaders in the area as its teachers, with Kate Jaffe serving as the Executive Director and guiding the program’s mission and educational goals. The program is committed to accessibility and offers a scholarship program to help make its programs available to all families.
