Seven Directions Creative Learning Center

Seven Directions Creative Learning Center offers summer camps for ages 5-18, including Prehistoric Animal Art, Fairy Art Camp, Anime Academy Camp, Outdoor Art: Wilder Ranch Camp, Teen Dungeons and Dragons Camp, Sketching Our Surroundings: Drawing from Life, and Digital Character Creation Camp. Summer 2026 has 10 sessions, and camps are held at the studio and off site at scenic locations. Some camps run full day and some half day, and full-day camps include lunch time.

• Sketching Our Surroundings: Drawing from Life — 11-16 · 10:00 am-3:30 pm · $440 · Meets in the main studio, back room. Instructor: Misia Buetens.
• Digital Character Creation Camp — 11-17 · 10:00 am-2:00 pm · $375 · Materials fee: $50 if rental iPad is needed. Meets in the main studio, front room. Instructor: Moss Giommi.

About the provider

The program’s mission says the arts are a crucial part of the human experience and that art is the best way for young learners to explore and express their understanding of the world around them. It also states that instruction emphasizes self-esteem through meaningful self-expression, with social emotional skills valued as strongly as academics. The studio is 2000 square feet and includes natural light, live plants, over 30 live exotic animals, artist-grade materials and tools, stretched canvases, acrylic paints, mixed media, 3D printers, iPads, and an extensive library of art and science books. Financial assistance and scholarships are offered, summer camp tuition is non-refundable, and multi-camp discounts are offered.
