About

Seven Directions Creative Learning Center offers a variety of art, theater, and game-based camps and classes where students take part in activities such as Prehistoric Animal Art, Outdoor Art: Wilder Ranch Camp, Fairy Art Camp, Teen Dungeons and Dragons Camp, Anime Academy Camp, Sketching Our Surroundings: Drawing from Life, Digital Character Creation Camp, and Storytellers Kid’s Theater Camp. Depending on the camp, students may do creative drawing challenges, animal-themed crafts, acrylic painting, drawing, painting and sculpting from 3D models, creative writing, theater games, acting warm-ups, role playing games including Dungeons and Dragons, and improvisation. Many camps include Animal Time with resident animals, and some activities use specific tools and technology such as Copic Ciao alcohol-based markers, Micron Fineliners, Procreate for iPad, 3D printers, and iPads, as well as a library of well over 500 art and science books.

• Ages: 5–17 years old
• Schedule: Summer 2026 camps run in 10 one-week sessions, with individual camps typically meeting Monday–Friday between 10:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.; Winter/Spring 2026 classes run weekly from January 6 to May 16 with a week off April 7–11 and month-to-month enrollment.
• Price: Camp tuition ranges from $375 to $440 per week, with additional materials fees for some camps and multi-camp discounts from 10% to 30%.

Seven Directions Creative Learning Center has a 2000 square foot facility that includes natural light, live plants, artist-grade materials such as stretched canvases, acrylic paints, mixed media supplies, 3D printers, iPads, and an extensive library of art and science books and literature, as well as over 30 live exotic animals that are included in Animal Time in nearly all camps. The program states that every person has a unique vision to share, that its creative learning opportunities support students artistically, academically and socially, and that instruction emphasizes self-esteem through meaningful self-expression with social emotional skills valued as strongly as academics, with art and academics melded with respect for each student’s creative spirit and uniqueness. Instructors listed for specific camps include Pepper Vasquez, Kyle Vasquez, Haylee Trowbridge, Misia Buetens, Moss Giommi, and an instructor to be determined for Teen Dungeons and Dragons Camp. Seven Directions also hosts Movie Nights several times a month on Saturday nights where kids watch movies, make art, and interact with resident animals under staff supervision, and it offers financial assistance and scholarships for families experiencing financial hardship or needing help with tuition, as well as gift certificates for classes and camps. One student testimonial states, “I never thought I would actually love snakes!” from Natalie, age 11.
