Tannery World Dance & Cultural Center Youth Program

Tannery World Dance & Cultural Center Youth Program focuses on dance education for young people. The program connects dedicated and talented students with accomplished teaching artists. It supports dance artists of all genres to tell their stories on as many platforms as possible.

Tannery World Dance & Cultural Center Youth Program is part of a studio, performance, and cultural hub housed inside the Tannery Arts Center. It is described as a studio for all at the heart of the Tannery campus. The organization states the values “Access // Equity // Excellence” in its materials. TWDCC elevates BIPOC voices and works to break through established forms of representation in all creative possibilities. It is home to Diaspora Performance Project Artists. TWDCC is a registered 501 c(3) non-profit organization.
