Tannery World Dance & Cultural Center Youth Program

Tannery World Dance & Cultural Center Youth Program is part of Tannery World Dance & Cultural Center, which offers dance education to dedicated and talented students and connects them with accomplished teaching artists. The program is based in a studio, performance, and cultural hub inside the larger Tannery Arts Center campus, and it operates within an organization that supports dance artists of all genres to tell their stories on multiple platforms. The broader center also provides a variety of classes for adult students and teachers focused on ongoing dance and cultural education and community, alongside its youth offerings.

Tannery World Dance & Cultural Center states its mission as being a studio for all at the heart of the Tannery campus, with a focus on access, equity, and excellence. The organization is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit. It is home to Diaspora Performance Project Artists and elevates BIPOC voices while working to break through established forms of representation in creative work.
