Tannery World Dance & Cultural Center Youth Program

Tannery World Dance & Cultural Center Youth Program includes the Preteen Intensive, Teen Intensive, Summer Film Project, Ballet Bootcamps, and DanceArts Camp. The Preteen Intensive is for ages 10-12 and runs Monday-Saturday, 9:00 AM-3:30 PM, from June 15-June 20. The Teen Intensive is for ages 13-18 and runs Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-4:00 PM, from June 22-July 3. The Summer Film Project is for ages 13-18 and meets Monday-Wednesday, 2:30-6:00 PM, with Thursday and Friday times varying and a Saturday final screening. Ballet Bootcamps are for intermediate and advanced ballet students and meet Monday-Friday, 11:30 AM-3:00 PM. DanceArts Camp is for ages 5-10 and meets Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-2:00 PM.

• Preteen Intensive — 10-12 · Monday-Saturday, 9:00 AM-3:30 PM · $400–$450 · June 15-June 20. SCOPE Fee: $100. Prior dance training required.
• Teen Intensive — 13-18 · Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-4:00 PM · $725–$800 · June 22-July 3. SCOPE Fee: $100. Prior dance training required.
• Summer Film Project — 13-18 · Monday-Wednesday, 2:30-6:00 PM; Thursday and Friday times vary; Saturday final screening · Led by Bay Area filmmaker and dancer Peter Nguyen and TWDCC Director Angela Chambers.
• Ballet Bootcamps — Intermediate and advanced ballet students · Monday-Friday, 11:30 AM-3:00 PM · $225–$250 · Intermediate: July 20-24. Advanced: July 27-31. SCOPE Fee: $50. Prior dance training required.
• DanceArts Camp — 5-10 · Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-2:00 PM · $400–$1,200 · Week 1: Congo; Week 2: Mexcio; Week 3: Brazil; Week 4: Brazil. Register for 1, 2, 3, or all 4 camps. CAMP SCOPE Fee: $50.
