USA Ninja Challenge Camps are open to anyone between the ages of 6 and 13 years old, and participants do not have to be registered class students to attend. The camp program is part of USA Ninja Challenge, a year-round obstacle course training program that combines basic skill sets from gymnastics, climbing, cross-training, and track and field, with a class program that has 6 levels to master using a wide variety of progressions, drills, and challenges. Ninjas who demonstrate their mastery of skills advance to the next level of training, and each ninja progresses according to their own abilities.
During each 15-hour camp week, athletes learn in detail how to perform on obstacles in each category of the USA Ninja Challenge level system, and they test their limits in a setting where they navigate obstacles with children their own age. The camp program focuses on building confidence through fun and fitness, challenges children physically and mentally with problem-solving, and is described as being about boosting confidence through exciting fitness challenges. The USA Ninja Challenge curriculum is stated to meet the requirements of a full physical fitness program for today’s youth, and ninja camps run throughout the summer and during select school vacation weeks, with the option to register for a single day, multiple days, or the entire week.
