About

Apex Athletics Youth Training Programs offers baseball, softball, basketball, soccer, futsal, and pickleball, along with access to batting cages and an indoor turf field. The program includes softball memberships, speed and agility memberships, speed, agility, and performance training, Apex Performance Soccer Clinics, and private baseball and softball lessons. Participants can also join travel ball teams, rent basketball, pickleball, and futsal courts, and use indoor cages for year-round training.

• Ages: 8–12 years old
• Price: Single Cage Rental: $35 per half hour or $45 per hour. Full Facility Rental (3 Cages & Turf Field): $85 per half hour or $155 per hour. Turf Rental: $35 per half hour or $72.50 per hour. Full Court (basketball): $75 per half hour or $150 per hour. Half Court (basketball): $40 per half hour or $75 per hour.

The mission of Apex Athletics Youth Training Programs is to support athletes of all ages and skill levels across Sonoma County with a top-tier, all-in-one indoor training destination. The program offers a membership model with guaranteed weekly training, priority scheduling, lower overall cost compared to pay-per-session, clear monthly development plans, access to member-only group sessions, and the ability to add on speed, agility, and performance training. Individual, team, and organization rentals are available, and there is a full facility rental option that includes three cages and the turf field.

The leadership team includes Softball Program Director Katie Rohrer, Softball 10U Head Coach Janaea Mason, Softball 12U Head Coach Tyanna “T” Austin, and Baseball Head Coach and Lead Trainer Gabe Gelsman. Staff experience includes former professional and collegiate soccer player Kareli Rodriguez, Windsor native and Pepperdine standout Amanda LeCave, collegiate softball player and coach Katie Rohrer, professional baseball pitcher Leonardo Castro, former collegiate player and youth head coach Janaea Mason, 4-year college softball athlete Tyanna “T” Austin, and baseball coach and trainer Gabe Gelsman. Their backgrounds include national and state team representation, collegiate awards such as MVP, Co-Offensive Player of the Year, All-American and First Team selections, Player of the Year honors, Gold Glove and Defensive Player of the Year awards, and roles in travel ball coaching, private training, and tournament operations.

Apex Athletics Youth Training Programs is connected to the local sports community, with staff who have coached with Sonoma County Premier, grown up in Santa Rosa United, represented the Cal North ODP State Team, and been honored as Sonoma County Female Athlete of the Year.
