Young Actors Studio of Sonoma County

Young Actors Studio of Sonoma County offers acting and singing through after-school classes, weekend classes, private coaching, mainstage performance experience, and theatrical summer camps. Students take part in learning and performing a full play or a full musical during three-week summer camps in June or July. The program includes the chance to perform on the stage of the California Theatre.

Young Actors Studio of Sonoma County is a resident theatre company of the California Theatre and is devoted to providing affordable theatre classes and stage performances to local youth. Year-round classes for students age 6–16 of all skill levels are offered by professional working actors. It is a non-profit organization, and its programs are made possible, in part, with funds from sponsors including Community Foundation of Sonoma County, County of Sonoma and Creative Sonoma, and Actors Theatre for Children. The program invites the community to participate in or attend shows and seeks ways to provide low-cost and often no-cost tickets to area schools.
