Young Actors Studio of Sonoma County

Young Actors Studio of Sonoma County offers acting and singing through after-school classes, weekend classes, private coaching, theatre classes, rehearsals, and performances. Students take part in mainstage performance experience, theatrical summer camps, and stage performances, including full plays or musicals during summer camps.

Young Actors Studio of Sonoma County is a resident theatre company and non-profit organization that provides training and entertainment for youth and families. Year-round classes for students age 6–16 of all skill levels are offered by professional working actors. Its mission states that theatre arts have the ability to inspire creativity, build confidence, and teach the power of teamwork, and that through classes and performances the program sparks young people's imaginations and brings them a love for learning that lasts a lifetime. The program invites the community to participate in or attend shows and seeks ways to provide low-cost and often no-cost tickets to area schools. Programs are made possible, in part, with funds from sponsors including Community Foundation of Sonoma County, County of Sonoma and Creative Sonoma, and Actors Theatre for Children.
