SC Pro Soccer Academy was established in 2024. The mission is to provide a home for ambitious players to train 4, 5, 6, or 7 days a week in one location. The leadership team includes founders Mark Christie and Jack Saville. Mark Christie has 17 years of experience working with pro youth academies and camps and is currently working as an MLS Academy coach. Jack Saville is a former professional player in England with Reading, Chelsea, Southampton, and Barnet, and a former full-time lead scout for Chelsea.

The academy identifies itself as the only European style academy in the USA and uses a European style approach and a logical European approach. Training features technical mastery with both feet, confidence with the ball, learning how to move like a soccer player, individual development, impact in games, and becoming a passionate competitor. Sessions focus on building quickness, agility, and strength, improving game understanding and making intelligent decisions, playing confidently with the head up, and training with more purpose and efficiency. The program uses a proven methodology, emphasizes individual focus, and provides constant feedback. Players train on multiple surfaces with elite coaches and use technology to track and measure. Training includes mastering 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4, and 5v5 situations.

The academy reports 100+ players into pro soccer, 300+ players into Division 1 soccer, 500+ into college soccer, and 90+ pro trials and European tournaments. The staff works all over the Bay Area and travels nationally and internationally to run camps and clinics.

Parent and player testimonials describe SC Pro Soccer Academy’s training and network as contributing to one player becoming a professional, with a focus on details and consistent execution, according to Edmund, dad of Ethan O’Brien. Player Sebastian Lletget states that the training is designed around his strengths and focus areas and describes the coach as a master of linking strength and speed to real game-like moments. Shashawna, mom of Julian Christy, credits Jack Saville and the staff’s hands-on coaching and mental development as instrumental in Julian’s growth and in securing a spot with the SJ Earthquakes academy. Carie, mom of Seth Sigur, describes Jack Saville and the staff as positive influences in her son’s soccer journey, providing training and mental support and stating that he truly cares about the kids.
