Sanctuary Summer Climbing Camps offers climbing, aerial arts on certain weeks, and structured conditioning and stretching exercises. The program includes instruction in essential climbing techniques, with attention to footwork and problem-solving skills, and takes place in a supportive environment that emphasizes gym etiquette and safety. All gear needed for camp activities is included in the weekly price.
• Ages: 7–14 years old
• Schedule: Weeklong camps run Monday through Friday, 9am–12pm, with drop-off starting at 8:45am
• Price: $425 per week including all gear
Sanctuary Summer Climbing Camps provides an engaging summer experience for children ages 7–11 and 12–14 and is part of the Sanctuary Climbing & Fitness community. The curriculum includes conditioning and stretching exercises to keep climbers strong and safe, and some weeks include a day of aerial arts on Wednesday. All camps require a minimum of 4 participants 72 hours before the scheduled camp time or the camp will be cancelled. Participants may transfer their registration to another available session up to 15 days before the camp start date, subject to availability. The program has been serving the Monterey Peninsula since 1996. In the event Sanctuary cancels a camp, participants are offered a full refund or a credit toward a future camp session. Participants must fill out a waiver to complete registration, and payment is due at the time of registration. Online registration closes 48 hours before the event, and the cancellation policy offers tiered refunds based on how many days before the camp start date the cancellation occurs.
