Creative Arts Group Youth Classes

Creative Arts Group Youth Classes offers youth classes in ceramics, drawing, and painting, along with jewelry making, enameling, and mosaic. The program also includes high-fire ceramics classes in hand building and wheel throwing, as well as in-person and online drawing and painting classes in a variety of media. Jewelry making, enameling, and mosaic are offered through classes and workshops, and there is also a Clay Experiences private lesson option for up to four participants.

Founded in Sierra Madre in 1960, Creative Arts Group is a nonprofit art center and gallery. Its mission states that it provides a friendly and nurturing environment for all and brings together the richness of a diverse community through programs, exhibitions, workshops, and events. According to its mission, Creative Arts Group offers ways for people to discover creative self-expression and to develop understanding and appreciation of others through the arts, and it describes itself as a vital, energetic art center and gallery. The organization reports serving more than 2,000 students annually from Sierra Madre and beyond, including digital students from all over the world.
