American Martial Arts Academy

American Martial Arts Academy offers Summer Camp, Tiny Warriors, Taekwon Kids, Young Olympians, Action Adults, a Charter School Program, an After-School Program, and Modern Day Knights. Summer Camp includes arts and crafts, games, field trips, swimming, Taekwondo, age-appropriate academics, reading, educational activities, creative projects, themed activities, and weekly field trips. The After-School Program includes school pickup, homework supervision, Taekwondo lessons, outdoor play, and snack time.

About the provider

American Martial Arts Academy was established in 1998 and has served the Simi Valley community since 1998. Its mission is to develop strong, confident individuals through high-quality martial arts training that builds character, discipline, and resilience. Taekwondo is described as a traditional Korean martial art and Olympic sport, and the Modern Day Knights are described as one of the most accomplished martial arts competition teams in Ventura County, with numerous national medalists, over a dozen national team members since 2008, and regional and national championship titles.

Beginners welcome. Programs are structured, safe, and supportive. Students are encouraged to learn at their own pace. Summer Camp is described as a structured, high-energy program. Tiny Warriors says no experience is needed.
