The Vivid Canvas Art Studio offers personalized art lessons and art classes that focus on 2D fine art mediums. Students can work in specific programs such as the Drawing/Pastel Basics Program, Drawing Program, Watercolor Program, Acrylics Program, and Oils Program, with a comprehensive digital program planned for the future. Students are placed in a program based on their age and skill level, and most begin in the Drawing/Pastel Basics Program, while older and more advanced students are placed after meeting and discussing their needs and wants.

The Vivid Canvas Art Studio provides quality art lessons in a clean and safe studio and maintains an organized studio to help prevent accidents and support smooth transitions between classes. The studio prioritizes health and safety, implements a 15-minute cleaning and organizing period between all classes, and fully disinfects each workstation before the next group of students arrives. The studio expanded and doubled its classroom space after reopening and offers a comfortable space for anyone, of any age, to create art.
The instructors at The Vivid Canvas Art Studio are artists themselves and are dedicated scholars of their craft, each pursuing or having completed advanced art education. The teachers are accomplished artists who continue their art education; for example, Carly has three AAs from Moorpark College in Studio Arts, Sociology, and Social and Behavioral (incomplete text), and Dana completed her AA Degree in Studio Arts. The leadership team includes owner and teacher Carly Jaffe and art instructor Dana.
Carly Jaffe began working at Michelle’s Young at Art when she was 18, and in 2019, when the company was about to close, she purchased it in August and rebranded it as The Vivid Canvas. Seven months later, the Covid-19 pandemic forced the studio to shut its doors, and it reopened in late September with a reduced student count. The following summer, the studio expanded and doubled its classroom space.
The Vivid Canvas Art Studio states that it is driven by a mission to inspire and empower through art education, to cultivate a nurturing environment where every student can thrive creatively, and to ensure that each individual feels accomplished and fully expressive in their artistic journey.
