• Ages: 5–9 years old
• Schedule: 6 On-Ice Learn To Play Hockey Sessions

The Little Kings Program is an introductory experience for children ages 5–9, designed to build confidence, teach teamwork, and ignite a child’s passion for hockey. The Little Kings Program aims to ensure every child feels the thrill of hockey and the joy of being part of the hockey community.

The Little Kings Program uses a USA Hockey-approved format of on-ice instruction. The program includes a USA Hockey registration number, two LA Kings tickets for those registering by December 31st, access to additional discounted tickets for all LA Kings games, access to discounted Skating School and discounted public skates passes (both varying by location), a discount to the LA Kings 5K the following season (not including an LA Kings ticket), and access to optional special Little Kings Events at Crypto.com Arena. Participants also have the opportunity to meet special guest coaches with impressive hockey resumes and extensive knowledge.

Guest coaches include Blake Bolden, a trailblazing former professional ice hockey player, the first Black woman to compete in the National Women’s Hockey League (NWHL), and a scout for the LA Kings; Manon Rhéaume, a pioneering former ice hockey goaltender and the first woman to play in an NHL game; and Jordan Nolan, a former NHL forward and three-time Stanley Cup champion with the Los Angeles Kings and St. Louis Blues. The National Hockey League (NHL) was founded in 1917. The NHL is committed to building healthy and vibrant communities using hockey to celebrate fans of every race, color, religion, national origin, gender identity, age, sexual orientation, and socio-economic status, and its social impact platform, NHL Unites, reinforces that the official policy of the sport is one of inclusion on the ice, in locker rooms, boardrooms, and stands.
