Tiny Spotlight is described as the San Fernando Valley’s most exciting and creative children’s theatre academy and as the San Fernando Valley’s premiere children’s theatre academy. Its stated goal is to introduce kids to the fundamentals of theatre and acting technique through fun-filled classes in a real theatre setting, while encouraging social skills, collaboration, and creativity. The program states that its focus is not to create the next big star, and that the lessons taught are intended to go beyond the theatre and have a positive impact on whatever students choose to do in their lives. Lindsay’s stated goal is to provide students with a fun-filled performance experience that builds confidence and lets kids know that their ideas are important and that what they have to say matters.
