Gold Star Gymnastics Holiday & Summer Camps offers days that include gymnastics, games, music, an art project, and Ninja activities. During the summer, week-long camps include gymnastics activities on all events, Ninja, music, games, an art project, and weekly themes. One-Day Camps are available during school vacations such as Thanksgiving, Winter, February, and Spring breaks, plus Veterans Day and Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
• Ages: 3–12 years old
• Schedule: Mini-Star Camps are 3 hours, and School-Age Camps are 6 hours; School Age and Ninja Camps are offered in 3- or 6-hour options
Campers attending for the full day, including morning and afternoon, have an option to purchase a hot lunch for an additional charge. Camps include a snack every day. Every Wednesday in the summer is Camp Spirit Day, when campers may dress up in an outfit that matches the weekly theme. School-age full-day campers walk to Las Palmas Park every Friday after lunch, and families who do not want their child to go to the park can register for both morning and afternoon half-day options instead. Extended Care is offered until 6 pm for an additional fee to full-day and afternoon campers. The program follows the Sunnyvale School District calendar.
The leadership team includes Pamela Evans (Owner), Owen Heery (Head Coach), CC Cordero (Program Director, Head Cheer Coach), Chris Garcia (Floor Manager), Kim Cordero (Floor Manager), and Weini Habte (Office Manager). Main Gym office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 8:00 pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. The office is staffed more than 60 hours per week, and the program states that it strives to provide personalized, caring, real human conversations, with extensive office hours giving families contact with desk personnel throughout the day.
