King Martial Arts Co. Kids Program

King Martial Arts Co. Kids Program includes mixed martial arts, kickboxing, self-defense techniques, striking, grappling, wrestling, conditioning, strength gain, and total body workouts. Classes are taught in small group settings, with options for 1:1 coaching for kids of all levels. The dojo emphasizes respect for the instructor, the training journey, the dojo, and classmates.

• Schedule: Kids classes meet three times per week in 45-minute sessions, with cleaning time scheduled between classes.

King Martial Arts Co. was founded in 2020 by Khashayar “Kash” King. Kash began his martial arts training at the American Kickboxing Academy in 2008, later became an instructor there teaching kickboxing and MMA to kids and adults, has fought competitively, and has coached ringside for martial arts competitions including Bellator. He holds a brown belt in jiu-jitsu, has provided 1-on-1 and small group personal training at Level 10 starting in 2015, was recruited to be a personal trainer at Stanford University in 2018, and traveled with Facebook to teach self-defense seminars. The program is part of a dojo that offers an expertly designed, ultra-clean training space, with mats that are cleaned thoroughly multiple times a day, and classes run on a strict 45-minute schedule with 15-minute blocks between for cleaning.

Proper athletic gear is required for training, and participants are asked not to wear pants with zippers to prevent scratches on the mats. Traditional martial arts training at this dojo is done barefoot on mats, so shoes and socks must be removed and stored in cubbies before walking on the mats. Pre-booking of classes is required, and walk-ins cannot be accommodated; class reservations must be cancelled with 24 hours’ notice or the class is deducted from the membership limit or class package. A free trial class is available for new participants.
