Silicon Valley Conservatory of Music

Silicon Valley Conservatory of Music offers private lessons on site and virtually for ages 5 and up, with lessons available on weekdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Its group programs include Toddler Tunes for ages 18 months to 2.5 years, Music in Me for ages 3 to 4, Harmony Road for ages 4.5 to 6, Beginner String Group Lessons for ages 6 to 11, Piper (Pre-flute) for ages 7 to 10, Esperanza Youth Choir, Youth Chamber Music Ensemble, and ABRSM Theory Prep.

Programs

• Private Lessons — Ages 5+, all levels · Available weekdays, Saturdays, and Sundays · On-site and virtual lessons are available; students can enroll in private lessons.
• Music in Me — Age 3-4 years · 45 minutes per week · Readiness program with ear training, solfege singing, movement, keyboard activities, pitch and rhythm awareness; parents involved in class and at home.
• Harmony Road — Age 4.5-6 years · 45 minutes per week · Music course focused on ear training, solfege singing, solo and ensemble keyboard playing, rhythm activities, movement, and music creativity; parents share in the group experience.
• Toddler Tunes — 18 months to 2.5 years · 30 minutes per week · First music experience with rhythms, finger plays, active movement, keyboard exploration, and singing; parents are involved in class with the student.
• Beginner String Group Lessons — Ages 6 to 11 years · 45 minutes per week · Beginner group programs for violin, cello, guitar, and ukulele; no experience required.
• Piper (Pre-flute) — Ages 7 to 10 years · 45 minutes per week · Designed to build essential skills like breath control, finger coordination, and musical expression.
• Esperanza Youth Choir — Semester-long course during the spring and fall seasons · No experience is necessary; students perform at an SVCM recital at the end of the semester.
• Youth Chamber Music Ensemble — Weekly rehearsals · Encourages collaboration, independent learning, and active listening while developing rhythm, intonation, and musicianship.
• ABRSM Theory Prep — Aims to help students interested in receiving a performance grade and in passing the ABRSM music theory exam Grade 5.
