Kids Only Club offers drop-off events where children take part in fun filled science activities. These events are for children only and are part of the programs at Pennypickle's Workshop, the Professor's home that is described as 7,500 square feet cluttered with hands-on inventions, gadgets, and experiments. Adults are required to accompany their children at all events except for Kids Only Club and Girls Only Club.

Kids Only Club follows the museum’s mission to help children and their families discover science through play. The program is connected with Professor Phineas T. Pennypickle, Ph.D., who is listed in the leadership for the museum. Pennypickle's Workshop, where Kids Only Club activities take place, has received a THEA award from the Themed Entertainment Association, two awards from the California Park and Recreation Society, and Nickelodeon Networks' Parents' Pick Award for Best Museum and Best Birthday Party Place. Friends of the Temecula Children's Museum, a non-profit 501c3 organization, is responsible for gift shop operations, birthday party organization, memberships, fundraising, and sponsorships related to the museum.
