South Coast Aquatics offers youth swimming, youth water polo, and general swimming and water polo activities. The program includes Water Polo: Splashball and other water polo options for younger, first-time players who want to learn the game with a focus on basic building blocks and fundamentals. Participants must be able to swim, and they can use the bottom of the pool during activities.
• Ages: 6–9 years old
• Schedule: Practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00pm–7:00pm, with seasonal sessions that range from about 10 to 12 weeks
• Price: $225 per session
South Coast Aquatics was founded in the summer of 1989 and is the 3rd oldest water polo club in California, with over 3,000 athletes having participated in the club. The program offers year-round options that teach water polo and swimming fundamentals, sportsmanship, and enthusiasm to athletes in the Conejo Valley and surrounding areas. South Coast Aquatics is dedicated to maintaining a positive sports atmosphere with encouraging coaches and a family atmosphere where athletes are proud to represent both the club and the community. The club has produced dozens of collegiate water polo players, high school all-league members, and high school All-Americans, and has traveled around the country winning multiple medals at high-level tournaments. The program is led by Director Matt Warshaw, and families new to South Coast Aquatics can request a free trial week by emailing him for details.
