South Coast Aquatics offers youth swimming and water polo, including Water Polo: Splashball, with a focus on the basic building blocks of water polo. The program is for younger, first-time water polo players who want to have fun learning the game. Participants must be able to swim, and they can use the bottom of the pool.
• Ages: 6–9 years old
• Schedule: Practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00pm–7:00pm in seasonal sessions running through spring, summer, fall, and winter
• Price: $225/session
South Coast Aquatics was founded in the summer of 1989 and is the 3rd oldest water polo club in California. The program offers year-round activities in water polo and swimming fundamentals, sportsmanship, and enthusiasm for athletes of the Conejo Valley and surrounding areas. South Coast Aquatics was founded as a means to allow residents of the Conejo Valley and nearby communities the opportunity to learn, develop, and compete in water polo and swimming. Over 3,000 athletes have participated in the club. The club has produced dozens of collegiate water polo players, high school all-league members, and high school All-Americans, and has traveled around the country winning multiple medals at high-level tournaments from San Diego and the Bay Area to Hawaii.
