AYSO PLAY! is a youth soccer program that offers recreation-based soccer activities for kids. The program focuses on introductory soccer skills and ongoing play using youth soccer as the core activity. AYSO PLAY! brings these soccer programs into many different kinds of recreational spaces, including indoors, small spaces, playgrounds, parks, and community centers.

AYSO PLAY! was created to #GrowTheGame – bringing more soccer to more kids in more communities. It is part of the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO), which pioneered safe, fair, and fun youth soccer in the U.S. 60 years ago. AYSO is the oldest youth soccer club in the U.S., with locations in over 650 communities nationwide. AYSO PLAY! provides innovative, recreation-based youth soccer programs tailored to each community and is expanding into new communities throughout the year.
Programs are designed to be low in operational complexity while being intentional in introductory skills development, and they are presented as a way for players to keep playing and gaining mastery while learning new skills and enjoying competition. AYSO PLAY! brings programs to places where players have easy access so children do not need to travel long distances to join soccer training. The program is committed to bringing quality training to communities while reducing or eliminating cost as a barrier to participation in soccer. AYSO PLAY! grows the game of soccer by getting more kids playing, keeping them playing longer, and helping them fall in love with the sport.
Core program models include PLAY! NOW, which is a one-day event; PLAY! +, which offers weekly sessions; PLAY! for Schools, which can run in-school or after-school; and PLAY! Camps, which run during school breaks or summer. AYSO PLAY! is described through the idea that the beautiful game is about having fun and enjoying yourself every time a player steps onto the field.
