Classical Ballet Theatre

Classical Ballet Theatre offers dance lessons for children ages 3 to 18. Classes include Basic Ballet, Basic Ballet I & II, Basic / Intermediate Ballet 5–7, Intermediate/Advanced ballet technique 8+, Pre-Pointe, Intermediate/Advanced (9 ~ teens), and Semi-Professional Training. The listed activities include barre exercises, center work, partnering, waltz steps, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd positions, classical variations I/II, pointe work preparation, and study of variations from the great ballets.

Programs

• Basic Ballet (4 1/2 - 5) — 4 1/2 - 5 · Improves posture, listening skills, focus, teamwork, discipline, rhythmic dance, skips, turns, jumps, flexibility, 1st arabesque, steady balance, and how to point toes.
• Basic Ballet I & II (5 - 9) — 5 - 9 · Barre exercises, center work, partnering, waltz steps, 1st, 2nd & 3rd positions & variations. Fun and energy remain the focus as our blossoming ballerinas sharpen their skills.
• Pre-Pointe — Offered to ballet students who are not yet on pointe to further develop and strengthen the muscles necessary to go en pointe.
• Intermediate/Advanced (9 ~ teens) — 9 ~ teens
• Semi-Professional Training — Learn to perform the character from the fairy tales.
• Basic / Intermediate Ballet 5 – 7 — 5 – 7 · How to point toes. Students learn classical variation I/II.
• Intermediate/Advanced ballet technique 8+ — 8+ · Intermediate and Advanced Technique
• Basic Ballet I (4-1/2 – 5) — 4-1/2 – 5
• Basic Ballet I & II (5 – 9) — 5 – 9 · 3rd positions & variations
• Basic / Intermediate Ballet II & III (6 – 8) — 6 – 8 · As they study variations from the great ballets, our ballerinas will be encouraged to add artistry, emotion and creative expression to their dance.
• Intermediate Ballet III & IV (9 – 11) — 9 – 11 · This series offers each student the opportunity to showcase her presentation and stage presence.
• Ballet IV/V (12 +) — 12 + · This series allows a select group of outstanding students the opportunity to train under the Director’s personal supervision.
