Sunny Grove Preschool and Childcare follows a Reggio Emilia inspired approach that emphasizes creativity through many forms of expression and uses the HighScope curriculum with research-based structure and clear progress tracking. The program states a mission to provide child care above the expectations of families, guide each child’s educational and individual needs, and inspire children to become responsible, independent, and compassionate individuals with critical thinking and life-long learning skills. The program identifies as non-religious and uses a non-religious curriculum, welcoming families of all beliefs. Sunny Grove Preschool and Childcare notes an experienced team, including Director Katie Bonzi, who holds a Master of Early Education. The program offers flexible hours, warm and healthy lunches and snacks each day, individualized feeding and napping, kindergarten readiness, and a clean and cozy space. It describes its care as top quality and award-winning childcare and highlights “Big Skies, Big Smiles” daily outdoor adventures, nature-centered learning, and individualized development plans. The program also provides open communication with regular updates, hosts family and community events to bring families together, and invites families to request a free discovery day for their child.
