City of Ukiah Youth Sports Leagues

City of Ukiah Youth Sports Leagues offers the Youth Basketball League and the Girls Youth Softball League. The youth basketball league is a recreational, non-competitive league for boys and girls in grades K-12, and the girls youth softball league is a recreational, non-competitive league for girls ages 3 through 8th grade.

Youth basketball players receive a reversible team jersey with the sponsor name and number on the back, and the league provides two basketballs to each team. Both leagues use first come, first serve registration and have limited space.

Youth basketball is open to girls and boys in grades K-12. Girls youth softball is open to girls ages 3 through 8th grade. Both leagues use first come, first serve registration and have limited space. Low-income residents of Mendocino County may be eligible for partial fee subsidies depending on income and fund availability. Basketball practices and games may be held at locations other than the school a child attends.
