roots Youth Muay Thai & Brazilian Jiu Jitsu offers Youth Muay Thai and Youth Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes where kids practice Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. The program takes place at roots Kickboxing BJJ, which is a leading martial arts training center. Classes focus on Youth Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training rather than cardio kickboxing or cardio Muay Thai.

The program’s mission is to inspire and enhance the lives of individuals in the community regardless of age and background through the practice of martial arts, fostering a community of respect, discipline, and personal growth. Experienced instructors, many of whom are accomplished competitors and black belts, provide expert guidance and personalized training. Youth Muay Thai for ages 5.5–14 is offered in a safe, engaging environment focused on confidence and discipline, and kids ages 5–14 attend structured, age-appropriate Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes that build fitness, technique, and confidence. According to parents and students, the coaches teach real techniques and solid foundations, advancements are merit based, and the gym has a welcoming environment for newcomers to Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. One parent describes roots as a family and a community that parents and spectators become part of, with coaches showing up to train six days a week.
